Mexico is known for there corrupt government and for being unstable. At every show case event there is about 100 military men and about 200 police men. On Sunday afternoon a ” Extreme Aeroshow ” performed in the city of Juarez. A tragic incident happened one of the trucks landed on top of the crowd killing 8 people and injuring 79. Most people assume the fault to go towards the truck drivers others believe it was Mexico’s fault for hosting the event in an unsecured arena. The state of Chihuahua should have done a better job of hosting this event there was minimum security,unable to control crowd,and the arena didn’t have any barriers.
“Extreme Aeroshows” are extremely dangerous not just because of the trucks but because of the public. These types of shows rarely ever go to Mexico so of course it was going to be packed. Usually it is known for the military men to attend every big show case to protect the citizens since Mexico has had many murders for the past years. It unbelievable that there wouldn’t be any security in this show case. “Spectators should never have been standing that close to the arena floor unprotected” said Richardo Chavez. Chihuahua put it’s citizens in a very risky situation.
The fact that there was no security at the “Extreme Aeroshow” brought other effects too. If the security would have been there to control the crowd there wouldn’t have been any murders. Since it is rare for these types of shows to go to Mexico the crowd wouldn’t know how close to be to them. Absolutely no one should have been in the pit area. The pit area is where monster trucks usually land after doing there big jump. Not only did these citizens put there life on the edge but they also got a man fired by risking there self.
The citizens weren’t the only ones to blame for this event. The event was also placed in a horrible arena. Most Monster Truck events are usually held in closed arenas or where there is some type of barrier. “The pit area was unprotected by any barrier and sat feet from the monster truck known as “Big Show” claimed Richardo Chavez. Chihuahua should have picked a better arena to host this show. They also could have set some sort of barrier to separate the trucks from the public.
In general the situation was a disaster. There could have been many ways for Mexico to be able to prevent this from happening. To start with they could have organized it better by hiring security and choosing a better location. Not only did there citizens die or get harmed but they also caused themselves to be in more debt. This wasn’t the companies fault all they did was show up and do there job. Mexico should take full responsibility for there actions.
